how to make an optical illusion drawing

Warning: this activity is very addictive!

Create some stunning pictures with just a pen and some newspaper and your imagination.

The possibilities are endless.

Once you start practising I don't think yous'll want to end.

You don't need to be proficient at drawing to create these stunning optical illusions. If you lot can draw a straight line then you're ready.

It's a pretty forgiving medium too so fifty-fifty if you make a fault and keep going, it'south worth it!

It's very hard to depict what to practice in words then I've put together a footstep past pace film 'map' to make two of the easiest shapes: triangle and square. Each illusion is fabricated of lots of shapes joined together filled in.

Once y'all've mastered these yous'll be able to experiment with other shapes, lines and colours.

Triangle template.

Describe lots of triangles together and make the template blueprint in each one and watch what happens!

Hexagon optical illusion. This one was a scrap trickier every bit it had more sides and made a few mistakes but still pleased with the results.
